  1. Jayne Milner Says:

    Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing to offer my services as an Historical Demonstrator and Interpreter for your events.

I give talks and lectures on the History of Medicine. I have a small well stocked tent which is full of interesting items for ‘Show and Tell’. I talk on healing herbs, surgery, midwifery, witchcraft persecutions, religious thinking of the day and as you can imagine it is a huge subject, I am also a Clinical Herbalist and can actually deal with the general public’s health issues within the scope of my character and experience.

I have been lecturing and entertaining the public for over 14 years and regularly appear at such prestigious sites as Plas Mawr & Conwy Castle (World Heritage Site) Ordsal Manor in Manchester, Kettering Museum, Harlech Castle, Eastbury Manor in Barking, to name just a few, I have also been recomended to contact you by several people who are members of groups who have worked for you in the past.

I would like to offer my services for a first event in a sort of gettting to know you way, My usual charges are £185 per day plus expenses and a set charge £360 for a full weekend and £500 for a three day event, but I can waver this charge on the understanding I can offer a 1 hour talk per day to be arranged at your discretion at set times, in between sell my herbs and give advice to members of the public to cover my out of pocket expences.

If you are interested I have several weekend dates free this year and would be only too happy (for this event only) to waver my usual fees.

    Yours sincerely
